Another eBay win, this lantern was probably originally from Essex (perhaps near Basildon).

It is an excellent example of an early A C Ford bracket. The gear box was designed to hold discharge gear, timeswitch and fuses; and the swan neck bracket is complete with Wolverhampton finial, collar and tulip joint.

The lantern is an GEC Z5580 B.
