BLEECO produced the art-deco inspired Brighton C bracket as a "modern" version of the traditional swan neck for the new side-entry low pressure sodium lanterns. Despite its unique appearance, and suitability for side-entry lanterns, it wasn’t as popular as the classically styled swan neck.

This example was obtained from fellow collector Simon Brown and originally stood somewhere in the Southampton / Portsmouth area. It was probably originally fitted with a REVO Sol'D'Or lantern whilst in service; I’ve since added a Phosco P123 (as large lanterns seem to suit this bracket).
