This bracket originally had a broken finial and was fitted with a Thorn Beta 5. This,
clearly, would not do.

The broken finial, and lantern, were removed, and all the paint was stipped.

Repainted green, fitted with a new finial, and retrofitted with a REVO C12423
fitting, this is how this bracket probably originally looked.

REVO produced the largest of the 'spiked' finials.

And this is the elegent 'leaf joint' which secures the bracket to the spigot. Unfortunately it was often a weak link,
and some would snap just above the spigot.
