stewarts and lloyds "round" bracket

I believe this unidentified bracket was made by Stewarts And Lloyds as such a bracket appears in one of their advertisements (I assume they’d have air brushed the column and bracket out if it was competitor’s model).

The bracket also appears in a Metropolitan Vickers catalogue as it obviously suited their circular SS-51 lantern; again it appears to be a Stewarts And Lloyds column and bracket.

Circular brackets were never as popular as swan neck brackets as they cast two shadows.

This example was originally installed somewhere in Surrey and was removed by P.. It was fitted with a Thorn Beta Five which I’ve swapped out for a GEC Z5531 Brookvale lantern.
