This lantern was the precursor of the AC Ford AC-888. The major difference between the two models was the large, square terminal box on the canopy of the lantern - this is missing for the newer lantern.

It's bulky size is due to the gear being in head. The polycarbonate bowl has now gone yellow with age.

This lantern was a swap with fellow collector Davy Warren. It was probably installed somewhere in the Devon area and still has its finial attached.
