In the beginning, the GEC Z9530 range had slightly different bowls. This is an example of one: the refractor plate is relatively small, and the rest of the bowl is rimpled to diffuse the light.

These lanterns are popular in Surrey, but this particular example came from the Burton area.

It has now been fully restored.
