Relite A42.400 Hyperion 135

This was the third design of the fairly popular REVO Hyperion range.

Although following in the footsteps of the Hyperion A and Hyperion B, the lantern was marketed as the Hyperion 135 (along with the Hyperion 180 which took 180W SOX). Many collectors refer to it as a Hyperion C but I've yet to see it called that in Relite's literature.

The lantern was extensively redesigned, dispensing with the strange clip at the end of the lantern, and opting for more contemporary side clips and a new refractor bowl.

Many have suggested that the design was prompted by the redesigned GEC Z9554 and Z9564; advertisements placed in Public Lighting suggest Relite were first with this design, and the GEC followed.

This example originally stood somewhere in Northamptonshire and was removed by Darren in 2008.
