Aspec made time switches and controls for gas lighting, including the
popular Kingsland range. As part of the Parkinson And Cowan group,
the firm was merged entirely into its parent company in June 1954.
The Kingsland clock controller was originally designed by W. E. King of
The Gas Meter Company Limited. The manufacturing has now been taken
