Corrosion resistant die-cast aluminium alloy (LM6M) top casting, bowl ring and door; heat resisting glass refractor bowl. Fully gasketted to eliminate dirt and moisture. Fitted porcelain terminal block, earth screw and cable clamp. Porcelain 3-pin bayonet cap lampholder, alternatively Edison screw lampholder. Stainless steel hinges and quick action toggle catch. Access to gear by hinged cover, underneath canopy. Weight including gear and refractor 21 lbs. Complies with the requirements of B.S 1788/51

PERFORMANCE

This lantern gives an identical performance to the Silver Ray Junior, but has the additional advantage, that it contains its own control gear complete with capacitor.

Side entry 1" B.S. pipe plain, maximum length 5". Secured by two Allen screws.
