Non-cut-off medium angle beam lantern for 45/60 Watt Sodium Lamps arranged for control gear in the canopy for Group 'B' street lighting.
Specification
Corrosion resistant die-cast aluminium alloy (LM6) top casting and bowl ring; perspex bowl with sealed-on machined and polished refractor panels, other
parts of the bowl diffusing.
Fully gasketted to eliminate dirt and moisture.
Fitted porcelain terminal block, earth screw and cable clamp.
Porcelain B.C. lampholder.
Stainless steel hinges and quick action toggle catch.
The control gear compartment is enclosed by a U section matt aluminium reflector.
Provision is made within this compartment for: Transformer, capacitor, porcelain terminal block, earth screw and insulated cable clamp. All connecting wires
are protected by heat resisting braided sleeving.
Compiles with B.S. 1788/1951.
Weight 7½ lbs. less gear.
Average weight of gear 16 lbs.
Performance
Non-cut-off medium angle beam, one of the highest efficiency lanterns available.
Main beam designed to run back above the peak towards 90° from the downward vertical to give controlled cut-off to reduce glare to a minimum.
Fixing
Top entry ¾" B.S.P. thread.
Side entry version is also available.
