two and four in their simplest forms for use with
a bare lamp, which result in the lowest selling prices. The same frame accomodates a refractor,
a 'Perspex' enclosure, or combinations of refractor and 'Perspex' enclosure, as follows :-

The standard refractor provides a non-axial light distribution for kerb-side mounting. When a symmetrical refractor is required add
"S" to the catalogue number e.g. S.93856B.S.
Lanterns with a refractor conform to the British Standard Code Of Practice provided an opal enclosure is not
used.
'Perspex' enclosures are anti-static treated.
'Pearl' lamps should be used except when a refractor is employed.
