G.E.C. Tapped Choke Coils
Designed to suit the OSIRA lamp and suitable for use with a single lamp operating on a 50-cycle alternating
current supply:

| NOTE | (1) | The voltage at the units must be specified in inquires for choke coils, which
are supplied in two voltage ranges, Z 1860 H 50 and Z 1870 H 50 covering actual voltages of 220 to
260 in steps of 5 volts, and the Z 1860 L 50 and Z 1870 L 50 covering actual voltages of 190 to
230 in steps of 5 volts. |
| (2) | If the periodicity of the supply differs from 50 cycles, a special choke coil
will be needed, in which case neiter the above description nor price will necessarily apply. |
| (3) | The G.E.C. choke coils are protected against damp by vacuum bitumen impregnation
and have no exposed live terminals. They must not, however, be subjected to direct water splash or drip. |
