London Road, Southend. Illuminated with 400-watt OSIRA lamps in "Di-Fractor" lanterns at 120 ft. spacing.
Class D lighting.



Aldwich Road, Bognor Regis. Illuminated with 400-watt OSIRA lamps in "Tunbridge Wells" lanterns.
Class D lighting.



Crystal Palace Parade 400-watt OSIRA lamps are used on both sides of this broad highway.
10 ft. brackets clear the trees on the edge of the pavement.



Trinity Rise, West Norwood, Lambeth. In this side road, which is part of a 35-mile scheme in South Lambeth,
250-watt OSIRA lamps are housed in "Di-fractor" lanterns.
Every type of road, including cul-de-sacs, is illuminated by OSIRA lamps.



Priory Road, Birmingham. A bus route lighted with 250-watt OSIRA lamps in "Di-fractor" lanterns.
Approximately 150 miles of roads in Birmingham are lighted to thsi or a higher grade.
Note that the columns are on the outside of the road.



Lower Road, Erith. Class D lighting is provided with 500-watt OSRAM lamps in large "Oxford" lanterns
mounted on existing tramway poles.
