STREET LIGHTING EQUIPMENT
FOR "OSRAM" LAMPS IN REFRACTOR LANTERNS

G.E.C. street lighting lanterns are designed to accommodate four types of G.E.C. British-made refractors, each giving a different light distribution.

A plan of typical candle-power distribution of each refractor compared with a bare lamp is given below.

Full line indicates distribution from bare lamp.

Dotted line indicates distribution from lamp and refractor.

(a) G.E.C. symmetric refractor (dome)
  Z 6501 For 60/200 watt.
  Z 6503 For 300/500 watt.
  Z 6505 For 1000/1500 watt.
(a) G.E.C. axial asymmetric refractor (dome)
  Z 6513 For 60/200 watt.
  Z 6515 For 300/500 watt.
  Z 6517 For 1000/1500 watt.
(a) G.E.C. non-axial asymmetric refractor (dome)
  Z 6507 For 60/200 watt.
  Z 6509 For 300/500 watt.
  Z 6511 For 1000/1500 watt.
(a) G.E.C. symmetric dome with non axial asymmetric bowl refractors
  Z 6501 Symmetric dome with
  Z 6607 Bowl for 60/200-watt OSRAM lamps.
  Z 6503 Symmetric dome with
  Z 6609 Bowl for 300/500-watt OSRAM lamps.
