The Bi-Way prismatic refractor is of the single piece type. The outer vertical surface
is smooth with the exception of the 2-way non-axial form which has a series of external vertical reflecting
prisms on the section which faces the "house side." The internal prism construction redirects the light
emission from the lamp into two main beams 60 to 80 degrees from the vertical, giving an intensity of
3.5 times the H.C.P. of the bare lamp.
