Phosware Enclosed Pendant Lanterns
For Group "B" Street Lighting
P 104 Perspex Bowl Type
|
P 132 Prismatic Bowl Type
|
Phosware enclosed pendant lanterns for Group "B" lighting are made in two types: No P.104 with an internal two-way Dome
refractor and a clear outer Perspex Bowl and No. P.132 which is fitted with an outer two-way glass prismatic Bowl for the light control.
Both types are suitable for the same range of lamps 100-200W GLS or 80-125W Mercury.
The Hood is of cast aluminium-alloy with a cast hinged ring which carries the bowl.
The interior of the hood is fitted with two downrods on which slides an adjustable cast bridge piece carrying the
lampholder. This is common to both types.
With the P.104 a further 3-arm casting is fitted to the base of the hood to carry the two-way glass dome refractor and this is
so arranged that it can only be placed in one position relative to the lantern, the hood being marked for the across road
direction.
The dome refractor is held in its housing by 3 spring loaded hooks and is easily detachable for maintenance.
With the P.132 no internal refractor is necessary as the light control is effected by the prism construction of the bowl
itself.
Standard Finish: Exterior, Hammered Metallic Beige; interior, white enammelled.
Light centre position, below top of glass refractor - P.104 Dome - 2 13/16", P.132 Bowl - 1 7/8"
