• Light Distribution. The distinguishing feature of this Fitting is that it projects a beam of light emission so as to cover the rectangular area, instead of a concial emission.

• Absence Of Depreciation. The silvered mirror being moulded in one piece ensures that there are no exposed edges over the reflecting surface liable to depreciation, whilst absence of gaps in the continuity of the mirror surface greatly increases the collection zone. The mirror backs are protected by a heavy metallic coating, which affords positive protection to the silvering. The mirrors are secured in position by substantial retaining bars, thus preventing any possibility of the glass coming away from the metal carrier.

• Accuracy Of Reflection. The location of the reflected rays by this one-piece mirror are obviously and definitely much more accurately determined than by any other method.

• Installation Features. Ease of wiring has been provided for by a new patent device, and all units, except C7760, are provided with externally operated lamp focussing device.

A Symmetric Type (C8642 and C8810) has been designed specially for road instersections and claims many advantages over Fittings which have special angles for particular junctions. Amongst the foremost of these advantages are:-

• a. Standardisation. The fitting is sutiable for every possible junction and obviates the necessity of having to obtain special Fittings for each particular road intersection.

• b. The REVO Symmetric Magnalite Fitting prevents the possibility of erection in incorrect relationship to the particular intersection concerned.

• c. Being symmetric, this Fitting has naturally a greater light magnification factor than is the case with FIttings having special angles, with the result that the maximum light collecting zone is utilised.

• d. The design of this Symmetric Unit definitely prevents glare, the most desirable feature at road junctions.
