This cylindrical type lantern, for vertical mounting, is designed to give effective illumination of both
roadway and adjacent buildings.
The unit wich accommodates four 5ft. 80 watt. tubular flouroescent lamps, comprises a cast aluminium canopy,
finial and base, with an enclosing member of opal Perspex. Starter switches are housed in the top of the lantern
and the lamps are arranged for individual switching if required.
A smaller fitting, similar in form, is also available for two or four 2ft. 20 watt or 40 watt lamps.
