By contrast, the next room we found was a jumbled mess. A sign dating from the Post Office ownership lay
on the floor. We knew Floor 28 was either the floor above or the floor below, so Floor 26 could’ve been the
original surface building (with Floor 27 and Floor 28 comprising the bunker), or Floor 26 could’ve been the
bottom-most level (with Floor 27 and Floor 28 above it).
Notice the wooden studding supporting a metal grid, much like chicken wire. This room was something of a
mystery.
