We quietly moved back down the stairs and exited Donne/Dickens. The next ward on the itinerary was
Ellis. This squat two storey ward was another small ward which straggled the horseshoe corridor and had only
been fleetingly photographed in the past.
Interestingly, it was the door to the ground floor dormitory block which received the most interest from explorers. The
"The Positive Futures Programme Exhibition" outlined possible plans for the hospital after its closure. None came to any
fruition and the vibrant clean sign was the only remains of the exhibition and these doomed plans.
