The mirror had gone - removed entirely.
I was happy about that. I’d rather that it was saved than smashed up like everything else
at Cane Hill. The glass window to its left had recently been
smashed, so the mirror had a lucky escape.
The stained glass above the doorway was still in-situ, but all the banisters
and wood paneling in the stairwells had been removed.
We quickly moved on to the Chapel.
