The first tiny room was a simple, rather sparse, bathroom.
In fact, the absolute bare minimum was in here - just the bath, a metal rail over the top
(which hasn’t come out well in the photograph) and a shelf.
A little bit dull and perhaps a little spooky as well.
The tiling was showing remarkable resilience by staying on the wall. As can be seen, the rather
joyous ‘cyan-blue’ wallpaper was falling off in big chunks.
