If I was being brutal, I’d call this room the "viewing room", but I think "Chapel Of Rest"
is far more respectful.
"Respectful" doesn’t describe the actions of previous visitors.
The purple cloth hanging from the wall had been ripped down, glass was
everywhere and the room was bizarrely full of gas cylinders.
Note the fact that the bed in the Chapel Of Rest was made out of scaffolding - I think
cost cutting in the NHS was getting a little out of hand. For a better brick
and concrete affair, take a look at a similar set up at
Bourne Hospital.
Also note the ghostly orbs to the right of the photo. Orbs also turned up in the
Chapel Of Rest at Bourne. At this point, everyone should go "oooooooooooo".
