More piles of junk greeted us outside the ward.
It seemed that all the old equipment and furniture in the hospital had been piled in
Pugin and the neighbouring Queens (the infamous chair room
of my previous tour), and it was now being removed and thrown in the outside skips.
We walked from Pugin and ignored the corridor to Queens ward.
That could wait another day.
Instead we aimed for the heart of Cane Hill. Just a short walk from Pugin took us
to one of the saddest sights in the hospital.
