Here’s another view of the burnt out wreck of the main hall. The incinerator
chimney and water tower could be seen thorough adjacent windows.
The view of the kitchen roof could also been seen. Strangely this had survived the fire.
The corridor I was standing in ran along the length of hall. This had survived, as had some of
the small offices leading from it. It was in some of these that we found the most intact rooms in Cane Hill.
