When I visited Cane Hill last year, I tried to find security and knocked on the
front door, peering into this room from outside. The lights were on but no one was home.
After the security fence was erected, security moved camp to the base of the hospital
drive, vacating the administration block forever. And it was that night that the arsonists
returned and set fire to this front room.
Luckily the fire didn’t spread, but the Front Hall was destroyed.
