Past this room was a small nurse’s office. Detritus and old pieces of paper were
left, all dated from 1991, suggesting that this was one of the last wards closed down.
(It looks like they shut down the hospital from the back moving forward).
A kettle was still there waiting for someone to make a cup of tea.
Adjoining this room was another small office, where this notice board was still in-situ.
Phone-lists, personnel and drawings were still neatly attached. It was here that I found
the letter from the patient, which was photographed.
