On the left rises the triple storey ward of Hill/Harvard, and facing us is the sort stubby ward of Guy.

Looking at these wards, I’m determined to go back to document them all. Why all the different shapes and sizes? I have ideas - but I want to get inside to confirm them.

Hill was a later addition, probably part of the LCC extension of 1888. Note the red tiling over the brickwork - a detail added to the later wards.
