The third storey of Male Ward D (Shaftesbury) offered a unique viewpoint across
Male Ward C and towards the water tower.
Often these vistas offered views of some rarely photographed parts of the complex. The three storey building in the background was
almost never captured photographically; it's part of the Sub Officer's quarters.
