The curtains flapping in the breeze start to spook me, so I take another shot of them and the left wing. This captures the dull, dreary day.

Someone even went to the trouble of opening a third floor window. The view would be impressive, looking out from the top of the wing, towards Croydon and the south of London.

Little did I know that it was a couple of months later that I'd stand in that room.

2009: It’s interesting to note how easily spooked I was. Nowadays I look back and laugh at my nerves. But, in those early pioneering days, it was a matter of conquering all those fears. All new urban explorers go through this.
