As I reach the ward, the concrete construction at the base, and the red
tiling of the second storey up, become apparent.
These wards were a slightly later addition, but are still Victorian.
Not that the bay windows here are also boarded up. Yet more old infiltration points for urban
explorers, vandals, dwellers and the curious.
