Opening the door, and pushing through, we found ourselves in the true tunnel system of
Rauceby. It was cold, damp and a banging noise could be heard from the depths of
the tunnel. Thinking it was workmen in engineering, I was somewhat alarmed that it seemed to be
coming towards us. Quickly we took the stairs, and exited the hospital buildings.
