Boxes of all sorts of equipment, building supplies and piping littered the floor.
Rauceby’s Chapel fell out of use after the 1976 drought. The building had subsided
and the dwindling hospital population didn’t require such a large place of worship. Hence a new Chapel was
constructed in the hospital, whilst the original was used for storage.
(Which was very similar to the set-up at Severalls).
