rauceby | how to climb a victorian water tower

Step #2: Get into the base of the tower.

Not as simple as it sounds. Cane Hill is welded up tight; previous to that, the bottom stairs had disintegrated. Severalls is unreachable due to a huge pool of green water.

The tower at Rauceby is accessed via Engineering.

Of all the asylums I’ve visited, none have access to the water tower from the main corridor network. This stops the patients finding and climbing them.

"West Park's water tower staircase in only accessible from the tunnel network unless you squeeze through a tiny hole from the ex basement. I also think Horton would have been joined to the corridors, but by the time we scaled it, there was nothing left around it." - Andrew.
