rauceby | how to climb a victorian water tower
10|05|04

With the BBC filming at Rauceby, and my interview in the can by eleven, I was given free run of the asylum. I started to photograph every inch, relishing the opportunity to document the buildings completely.

Bloom Demolition had to down tools for the day, as the site was effectively overrun with visitors. I mentioned climbing the Water Tower, for I wasn’t going to let a bit of rotten wood stop me this time.

Deano, ever curious, had already scaled it, so we went up together. Smorgy remained on solid ground but remarked later that she could monitor our progress as we went up, as the pigeons came flocking out in droves.
