The Main Hall of Severalls, complete with elegant curving ceiling, functional brass hanging lanterns, large
stage, and wooden hall. The pink and red colour scheme gave the room an opulence which we didn’t expect
within an asylum.
The sun shone through the stained glass of the windows. Like entering the Chapel at Cane Hill, walking into
the Main Hall at Severalls was like entering another world.
