Smorgy and I had talked about a series: about the architecture and structures apparently lost and now abandoned. The haunts of urban explorers, and the characteristics of these buildings; attempting to put a finger of the essence which made them so intriguing.

The pilot would be centred around Victorian and Edwardian asylums. In fact, I’d gone further, drawing a brief guideline of a series of six, and then even got so bigheaded as to sketch up the second season.
