This trip led to the Deputy Sister being sacked because, not only had she taken off without permission some pretty damned, dangerous people out of the ward, hospital etc., but the police were alerted when she was halted by French customs trying to take them all on a day trip and the medication was barbiturates and highly illegal in France."
