This is one of Friday’s shots, looking back towards the Superintendent’s House, with the two flanking ward
blocks clearly seen either side.
If I’d taken this shot on Monday, there’d be an image of a security woman, walking quickly to catch up with
up.
“Oi. No photographs. You can’t take any photographs.”
Huh? Smorgy immediately questioned her: “But there aren’t any signs forbidding photography.”
“There are no signs. But you can’t take any photographs.”
We shrugged, bemused. Why? What were they hiding at Whittingham?
“I’m going to have to ask you to leave.”
And thus Whittingham became the first site we’d been asked to leave from. So, we continued on our way, back
to the car.
