I was driving up to Glasgow on the Friday, and driving back on the Monday. So, the plan was to recce
the asylum on the way up, and go for a full infiltration on the way back. (And I even had another plan –
if Whittingham was gone, then we’d go home via High Royds). It didn’t quite work out that way. So this tour is actually two – the first recce and the abortive infiltration. And since the Monday was much nicer, being a lovely sunny day, the pictures were much better so I’ve also used some of them here. And you’re not allowed to take ANY PHOTOGRAPHS. But more on that later.
