Back in 2003, an aborted trip into
Cane Hill turned into the first on-line foray into
West Park; a time when
the Main Hall was still intact, the wards largely inaccessible, the hospital a
large unknown. Its Internet debut made, I left West Park for several years,
concentrating on other places. On a similarly hot day in 2005, an aborted trip to Queen Elizabeth's turned into my second foray into West Park; now the hospital was well known and explored. But little did I know that this would be a dry run for a newspaper article several weeks later...
