First impressions were of a 1960s office block as we climbed the concrete stairs (dodging the
obligatory uncoiled fire hose) before finding a parquet floored corridor which ran the length
of the building. The wooden blocks of the floor were buckling and were raised in places. These crunched back into
place satisfyingly as we made our way along. Typical 1960s partitioned offices: carpet,
filing cabinets, rimpled glass and divider doors.
In one office we flicked through a drawer finding it stuffed
with test reports, filed either by company name or engine name. It appeared that Pyestock
was intact in every sense of the word: stuffed with equipment, furniture and documentation.
Still no site maps though.
