We paused for a while in the control room, having a brief rest on the once comfy
office chairs. A similar schematic to that found in the Air House gave little more
information and was hung upside down for some reason. Finding little else, and having
photographed the control panels, I climbed a vertical ladder to get a lofty view of
the main hall. A hole in the roof of the control room prompted some comment: had
some hapless explorer fallen straight through whilst trying to get a better shot of
the hall? Unfortunately the truth was more mundane and annoying, but that wasn’t
discovered until a few weeks later.
