The next building resembled a zig-zag, the wings built perpendicular to each other,
end to end. The first wing had a door labelled “Sample Panel Store” but it was locked shut.
A siren stood outside, mounted on a short metal tower. It looked a similar vintage to the old
World War Two air raid sirens. I wondered if it was used to signal the change of shifts or
really was a relic from the war.
