I turned and took this shot, looking down into a part of
the airfield we would not even be going near today.
This was the route Offkilter and I took back in May, exploring
each of the hangers before making for the Tower (it’s either a water tower
or a boiler house), checking out the Crazy Golf Course (I’m not joking –
but it was covered in sheep at the time), and having a quick look at the Social Club.
Have I mentioned that this place is vast?
