Deciding to kill some time, we climbed up on the flat roof of the building, and were greeted by the sweeping
view of RAF Wyton to the north. The sky had greyed and the wind was building, so we took shelter in a small
alcove by the boiler house chimney which looked out towards the old dog training compound. Tom produced two
bottles of beer. It was now an unwritten rule: have a bottle of fine ale in some of the most unlikely places possible.
