The conversion of the Chapel is finally complete and estate agents are currently selling the sixteen apartments
it's been converted into. To be fair, it's an imaginative and impressive job, offering small single bedroom
homes in the space of the old chapel's building.
At no time does this glossy A4 sheet mention the former use of the chapel, preferring to call it an
"original Victorian Gothic chapel". Such rebranding is now commonplace although someone slyly managed
to hint to its original purpose by keeping its original dedication. St Raphael is the patron saint of the blind,
of happy meetings, of nurses, of physicians, of travelers and the mentally
ill.
To see how the chapel looked just before conversion,
take the tour of 2002.
