Cane Hill Lunatic Asylum
Grand Tour 13|07|02
It was a bright, summers day, and we were exploring the old dank interiors of Cane Hill. This shot, of
Wesley ward featured several 'orbs'.
There were no orbs in any other pictures of this ward, nor in any other parts of the hospital... except one. And that's
shown below.

Cane Hill Lunatic Asylum
Grand Tour 13|07|02
Mid-way through this tour, I switched cameras. (In fact, I was so pleased with the new one, that I've never gone back
to the old one - which is slightly bad news for my employers as it's their camera. I don't think they're usually best pleased
when their equipment is returned covered in tar, hospital munge and asbestos. Oh well).
Anyway, two large orbs cropped up again in the mortuary. And, again, all the other pictures of this location, with this camera,
on the same day were fine.

Bourne Hospital
Home Of The Bouncy Thing 13|10|02
Bourne Hospital was pretty dull, but we did find the door to the Chapel Of Rest open. And
against the left blue curtain, an orb can be seen.
This was the day of two aborted infiltrations and this was the only shot to feature something weird. And not very spectacular at that.

Cane Hill Lunatic Asylum
Spooks And Structural Failure 08|12|02
It was a cold, wet, foggy, nasty and dark day. But all was going fairly well (we'd actually managed to get in for starters!) until
this rather odd misty fog appeared.

The Chapel was yielding some particularly strange effects - the spectral mist of doom can be
seen clearly.

Whilst recording the remains of the organ, the mist started to swell up.

And as I moved to the alter, things just started to get worse.

Smorgy took this shot - she couldn't believe it, and yelled out when the image appeared on the screen of the digital
camera. If you take the tour, you discover that we tried to reproduce it and failed.

After that, we took shots all over the Chapel - this view shows several orbs spiraling either up into the rafters
or down into the ground.

CRX
Fearlessly Facing Flincher 08|12|02
That day was just plain weird - here's the Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital nicely framed with the spectral fog of doom.

A lone orb guards The Black Labs - home of the animal experimentation areas.

The mist of doom seemed to live in the kitchen areas - we really couldn't shake it.

Again, another misty shot - and again, I tried
to reproduce it but failed.
And there you have it - whether these effects are atmospheric, caused by tricks of the light, dust, properties of the digital camera, or spirits of the dead
remains to be seen - but I always keep an open mind on these things. More will be added - when I take them!
