This battered post top lantern has certainly seen a long life, and is now safely retired into my collection. Rescued by P., the lantern probably stood somewhere near Surrey.

Amazingly, given the dents and scratches on the canopy, the bowl and dish of this lantern remained complete and uncracked. A 'spare' SOX bulb can also been seen inside.

It'll take some time to restore this, but it should brush up well.
