A swap with Bob Cookson, this GEC post-top decorative lantern was probably installed around the seafront of Eastbourne.

Originally designed for fluorescent lamps, this model took an 80-250W MBF/U bulb.

It's seen far better days, and I've cheated with this shot, showing the final remaining panes of patterned diffusing glass.
